Monsoon Roadtrip

Unlike road trips that we have planned in the Western Hemisphere, that require a weekend of planning, this particular trip took almost 45d to plan. It was far more difficult to get good quality information from places to stay, road quality, places to see, what and where to eat etc. Finally, we decided to trust only first person accounts from people we spoke to, who have been to these destinations before.

Our aim was to see a part of India we had not seen, and also do equal measures of adventure (monsoon trekking), culture (temples), and sampling local specialty foods. We ended up just whetting our appetite and leaving many things for future trips.
